Gordon Martin, Founder and Director
Since its inception, Martin Montessori Academy has been a leader in “safety-based technology deployment”. Saying it that way truly is a mouthful. I will simply say that we regularly seek out new ways to create a safer, more engaging learning environment for your children! “Mr. Gordon is now the preschool administrator and the garbage man. If you ever catch him forgetting to put a new liner in the garbage can, let everyone know. He has 5 minutes to do so. If he doesn’t, he has to get a tattoo!!!”
Mallory Radcliffe is very excited to be assisting Gordon Martin in his vision of providing superior Early Childhood Education to Pinellas County families. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Development from American Public University and has spent several years dedicated to private childcare, as well as additional experience in small and large Christian curriculum classrooms. She feels the Lord has directed her path toward what she is most passionate about, which is educating young children. She has an affinity for Dr. Maria Montessori’s methodology and giving young children an advantage by providing a pathway toward the love of learning.
Being the mother to a preschool-aged daughter herself, Mallory understands the important role an educator plays in the life of their child. Both she and her daughter have been educated based on the Montessori Method.
“Our care of the child should be governed, not by the desire to make him learn things, but by the endeavor always to keep burning within him that light which is called intelligence.” – Dr. Maria Montessori
Jamie Bunting is the newest member to our staff. She is driven and committed to creating a positive, nurturing environment for the children. Currently enrolled at St. Petersburg College, Jamie holds an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and plans to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in the near future. She’s always had a deep affinity for educating children. Since the birth of her own daughter Jayda, she’s acquired the personal experience and passion for instilling the character, values and manners necessary for a child’s success later in life. Her ultimate goal is to guarantee that all children are equipped with the appropriate tools for a smooth transition from early childhood care to further education.
